Sun/Snowdonia

Written by Jono Hawkins on 30 Jun 2021

Blessed with good weather for my first visit to Snowdonia since the pandemic started, this was a fantastic opportunity to try out my new ND and graduated filters in a different setting. Below are some of the results I’m happiest with.

Bee taking a pause for lunch on Wild Carrot.
Can't pack your ropes away if there's a frog in the way!
Wagtail holding still for a self-portrait at LLyn Dinas.
Golden ringed butterfly near Cwmorthin quarry.
A carpet of moss and fungi in Ceunant Llennyrch.
Small rocky waterfall below Clogwyn Brîth
Long exposure at the waterfalls on the Watkin Path.
Mixed light on Yr Arddu from Cnicht.
Faye making her way down from the summit of Cnicht.
Ferns poking between a fallen slate wall at Cwmorthin quarry.
